Default Outlook XR - PO 496 DTC - Evaporator Emission High System High Purge Flow

Good morning - based on a quick scan it looks like I have to replace a valve or sensor. What part is actually needed , how easy is it to replace (are instructions available inline?) and what is the approximate cost for this part.

Will this also eliminate difficult starting after fuelling up to a full tank?

Thank you

2009 Outlook XE
Default Re: Outlook XR - PO 496 DTC - Evaporator Emission High System High Purge Flow

Looks like the easiest part is the purge solenoid. I haven't had this issue but if you can see the attached file it doesn't look like it's in that hard of a spot to get to. For my 09 Outlook XE on rockauto.com the part is about $40. The other part look like it could be the fuel tank pressure sensor which itself doesn't look hard but you have to drop the gas tank. I'm sure someone who knows more than I do will chime in and hopefully narrow it down a little better. Good luck.
