Default Black Emblems

I was just speaking to a good friend of mine, the one with the '97 SC2, and she was telling me that she wants to get the black emblems for her car. Of course, I tell her "WAIT, I have to consult the people SaturnFans, they know EVERYTHING!" So my question is, if I were to install the emblems on her car, how would I get the old ones out and the new ones in? Would the one in the back in the middle of the reflex panel be able to be removed at all? She wants to get them from SPS, so they are not knockoffs or anything.

Thanks for any help!

This is my 400th post, BTW!!! WOO-HOO!!!!

Hey check with your local dealership first, sometimes you can get the emblems cheaper, and sooner, than if you ordered them from SPS. The rear emblem is stuck on, you just have to pop it off, the nose one is a little easier, you just have to find the right socket size to loosen up the twist bolt underneath the emblem. the fender ones are a little harder, you need to take off 3 or 4 of the fender clips so you can get your hand up in the fenderwell. once there you do like the nose..... And when you put the new ones one, DO NOT overtight, or you will break the stem off, and lose alot of money and time... PLus you'll be really pissed off, I know, ive done it... Hope this helps a little...

It's a 10mm socket for the emblems, and if you break them, you can always glue them.

Click here and here's SPS's installation instructions. It's pretty simple to do.I've been thinking about doing it since the Saturn emblem on my rear truck lid is slooowly working it's way off.

Thanks everyone!! I sent my friend an e-mail with the instructions from Germ's link (thanks!!!), and that she should call Saturn first. I really appreciate everyone's input, as always, I'm glad I came HERE first!!! Thanks!
