1996 SW2
Default S-Series Oil Reset Button

I have a 1996 SW2 and my "wrench" light has been on for almost two years now and it's driving me crazy! I know that my "Change Oil Soon" light is out and I found a site that gave me the instructions on how to fix it. As I took off my uhjb cover I saw that I don't have a "oil-r" button. Could this button be somewhere else in my car? When I saw the site I was so happy that this was going to be an easy fix, instead of taking my whole dash board apart, that's why it's been on for two years. Thanks for any help you can provide!

The S-series did not get a oil reset button until 2000. Recheck to see what light is out.

Default Re: S-Series Oil Reset Button

Welcome Gotsheep!

Just as a clarification to what bluesl2 said... The wrench light is usually triggered by a bulb that's burnt out. Check every external lamp as well as all of the IP warning bulbs when the ignition is first turned on for any that aren't working.
