Hearing times of 7.0 seconds with 191HP & TQ worries me. That is nothing special for that much HP. It must weight a 10 tons. It should be at 6.0 seconds or less if it was light like the S-Series! Saturn please don't increase the weight over our beloved S-Series yet again. First it was what 2350 then 2400 then 2450 for SC and now what 3000! No thanks. Cut out the fat and give us the 1874 pound 148HP 0-60 in 5.3-5.9 sec Opel Speedster. I have seen 5.3,5.5,5.7,5.9 0-60 times for it, but anyway you look at it is a Porsche Boxster, Honda S2000, BMW Z3, and more killer. W/ a turbo it could reach 4-4.5 second 0-60!

Hell, if pwople did not care about cost, Saturn would simply make the whole thing outa aluminium and plastic. That would cut your weight down a bit and also raise the price many thousands of dollars.
The weight on those opels looks good, now if it can only make it over here without gaining the fat.

The heaviest Astra is probably the turbo coupe. According to the web page below, it weighs 1345 kg (2959 lbs).

Thanks Mike,
That's what I thought! It weighs in almost as much as an L! Can you imagine the SC2 with 191HP and 2450lbs? Dayle
