Default Which bulbs for gauge cluster gen 3

So I was told on here that the bulbs I had for my old 98 Saturn would work in my 02 sl. Well they are different. So what aftermarket bulbs can I get that don't cost 4+ per bulb and I need 10 right ?
Also. Everyone says you have to lower the steering column or remove the steering column cover around the steering wheel to remove the cluster that's not the case. If you remove dash pad pop forward the front dash trim and take the bolts out of the cluster says you can easily remove it like that. It's easily a 10 minute job. Not sure why people are lowering the steering column ect.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

Lowering the steering column is only for 2nd gen cars. 3rd gen is exactly how you described it. Not sure who told you about the bulbs, but they are not the same as you found out. If you do the search for 3rd gen cluster bulbs in the search, there are a few posts about it.
