Default Are 18 inch wheels too big for the QC?

Has anyone seen 18's on either an Ion sedan or coupe? Do they look good or do they look too big for the car?

well i think the ION sedan APC did up has 18's or 19's, so its possible, you would probably need a 215/35 series tire, to compensate for your oem wheel..

You may also consider wheel weight and the effect of inertia of those wheels and tires on performance in multiple areas.

Premature wear of some suspension and drivetrain parts caused by excessive wieght can get pricey.

I saw a yellow '88 Fiero GT this weekend with 25" chrome wheels and they looked gawd-awful, so anything would look better than that.

I don't think that anything bigger than 16-17 on the ION would look that great, so 18" is pushing it IMO, but remember, that is just an opinion.

I think that 18" would be the max. Anything else would be nasty.
