Default 1998 Saturn and Marvel Mystery Oil...

Just wondering about any input or thoughts about using Marvel Mystery Oil in my daughters Saturn? At oil change and gas fill ups per bottle instructions? Have been following the Checklist version 3.0...car is running great? Any thoughts? Thanks...

Use Synthetic oil, especially if you're not burning too much, and occasional tanks treated with Techron, that's all!

I used Marvel Mystery Oil right before I changed it - I wouldn't run it for any length of time. It's way too thin to provide good lubrication for an extended period.

It's good for breaking up and gathering junk in the engine, but you have to change the oil right away to get it out of the system. Otherwise, it will cause you problem.

I top off the oil with a cup or so of MMO for the last 300-500 miles of the OCI. Many MANY others have done this for decades (even for the entire OCI) and swear by it. YMMV
