Default Rear Anti-Sway Bar...

So yeah this broke on me the other night. It happened on the driver's side where the hanger attaches to the bracket on the strut tower. My question is do I have to replace the entire bar as a unit, or can I just replace that piece that connects the bar to the bracket?

do you mean the link broke? the links are metal rods that attach to the ends of the bar and some part of the hub/control arm/whatever is around there with bushings on both ends. if thats what broke, you can usually buy a set of those pretty cheap

Yep that's it, looks like the bushing on the bottom of the link where it connects to the bar is gone. I figured you could probably just replace that part, but I wanted to make sure first, thanks!

no problem. by the way, for some cars, you have to ask for a sway bar repair kit. thats how autozone has most of theirs listed. for some cars, theyre also listed under sway bar links, but not for all.

Don't know why they're being called "kits". A kit, by definition to me at least, says it's that one price for everything the car needs for that part....yet the car requires 2 "kits" to fix both sides.
Get one that looks like this: http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...y+bar+end+link and not the useless looking one Energy Suspension makes.
