Question Fuel Gauge Stopped Working

Yesterday my fuel gauge stopped working ('92 SL2). It stuck below empty with half a tank and didn't move after I filled up. No other problems (other than a falling headliner).

Any suggestions on where to start?

First things first, CHECK ALL the fuses in BOTH fuse boxes. Don't just look at them, pull them out and MAKE SURE they are good. If they are, open the TRUNK and pull the carpet away from the LEFT side fender well area, you will find a connetor there. Make sure all those wires are connected tightly and uncorroded. Provided all that checks out, you can then either trouble shoot the wire running to the gauge,or you just assume it's the sending unit and drop the tank and replace the fuel pump/sender assembly. You'll need a wiring diagram to trouble shhot the gauge unless someone else has one handy or knows which wire it is...mine is at home.
