I have an 2008 XE and it did not come with factory fog lights. I was hoping to find some OEM factory lights. I am just in the thinking stage right now. I was wandering if anyone knew how difficult it would be to install them? For example would the wiring already be behind the bumber to tie the lights into? And would you have a place on the dash to mount a switch or does it work off of the light switch? Or would you have to run all new wirirng?
Also if anyone knows of any aftermarket lights that look or are similar to the original fog lights let me know. Thanks, brc

The wiring is not there, you'll need to run the wires.
You'll need an aftermarket switch, or you can get a factory switch from a junk yard. Same switch as a Malibu. It's not a difficult job if you're comfortable with wiring and schematics. Do a quick search, this topic has been covered before with instructions. ... '09 Saturn Aura XE

You can also use one from a G6. But the Malibu one will illuminate blue and the G6 one red.

or you can hard wire them to come on with the key and they'll be on at all times.

I had just got through servicing the lawnmower a couple of weeks ago. It is a Crafsman riding mower. Changed the oil and filter, bought new belts, spark plug, airfilter, fuel filter, blades, adjusted the brakes and clutch. I had mowed one time since I did all of this.
I was going to mow with it last week, so I put the battery on charge one evening. Went to the shop to unplug the battery charger and there was gas pouring out of the carb everywhere. I didn't know what was wrong. I took the carb. apart the next day cleaned it. I am assuming the float and needle valve got stuck. B/C when I mowed the first time I put some Seafoam fuel cleaner in with the gas. I think the Seafoam broke loose all the gunk and caused the float to get stuck. When the gas overflowed it got into the crankcase. So, I had to re-change the oil replace some of the parts I just bought. It is running fine now and I didn't have to buy a new carb. Hope it keeps on running fine. Thanks for asking, brc
