Yesterday I ran into a very weird problem - I had been driving for about 2 hours on the thruway with my AC on and all was fine. I was about a mile from home and got off on the exit and heard what sounded like water dripping. I looked over and saw a small stream of water dripping from somewhere behind the glove box onto the front passenger size floor mat. I pulled over and could feel the water dripping - it was a total of about 2 cups of water. No smell or color to the water and it was room temperature (not hot or cold). I put some paper towels down to catch it and it stopped a few minutes later. By the way it was not raining out so it did not seem to be external water or a leak. Today I drove to work and I had no water dripping until I once again got off the parkway after 20 minutes of high speed driving with the AC on. I got about 1-2 cups this time, same place as yesterday.
Can anyone please offer some advice on this issue and let me know what to look for, replace, etc.?

Sounds like the A/C drain tube is either clogged or come undone. Poke your hear around, there should be a tube that runs from the evap to a hole in the floor. You may have to pull the carpet back to see it.

After 2 days of dripping it mysteriously stopped and has not begun again. I am planning on getting down and looking for the tube this weekend anyway. I am thinkinging it may have clogged and somehow unclogged after a few days.
One thing though - I notice that my A/C when on seems to be surging every now and then on the passenger side floor vent. Not sure if it happens when I accelerate or turn the wheel of the car, I know it sounds strange. The A/C is working normally but seems to surge out the floor vent from time to time whether I have the A/C set to blow out the floor vent or not. Have to play around with this a little and try to figure it out.

I tried to locate the drain tube this weekend to see if it was clogged or damaged and could not find it. Does anyone have a diagram that you can send me: jess.hurwitz@gmail.com that would show where the drain tube is located under the dash in relation to the other components.
I ddi get some watter dripping over the weekend, not as much as previously reported but in the same location. It had not dripped for over a week and then I got some dripping yesterday. This is so wierd.
