interior lights

Is there a way to turn the interior lights off, such as when the doors are opened. I want to go to the drive in movie. I read with the European models you can push the headlight switch in but it doesnt do anything on my car

I am not aware of a switch to override the interior dome light, but it should automatically shut off after a while as part of the battery saver.

Are you saying that you want/need the door open the whole time for the movie? If that is the case, your only solution is to pull the bulbs or pull the battery cable. If not, just wait it out and the lights will turn off on their own as PanVet posted.

I dont need the doors opened, just the rear hatch. I wasnt sure if the lights timed out after a set time or not. If they do, like you say, then I guess just have to do that. Thanks

I wish we still had drive in movies around here. I used to love going there.

Picture was never great, some dork would always keep their foot on the brake and blind everyone behind, and it was always a long walk to the bathroom.

But I would trade every THX, 3D, mega screen theater if I could just have a drive in back.
