Default Saturn SL2 blower motor won't work

If I hook up the blower motor directly to a battery (car battery) it works fine.

I checked the power and the ground. Coming from the switch, right at the point before they connect to the blower motor. Ground is grounded and there is power coming from the switch.

When I hooked it up again it worked for a little bit (10 seconds) when I turned the switch off and back on again it stopped working. Checked the power again... there is still power.. any ideas?

Yes, but I need the year and model of your car. If you put the info into your profile it will show up in the left hand frame and everyone will have it.

Your problem should be an easy fix.

OK, this is the same problem you are having. http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=179483 Most likely the failure is located at the same spot, F-2 on the black 68 pin connector on the r4ar of the inside fuse panel. You can get at it from the DRIVERS side of the center console, just take off the side kick panel. Locate F-2 and wiggle it while the blower is turned on. If it suddenly runs then this is what needs fixing. There is a schematic that Rulley73 posted that shows all the wring. You do not have to take the car apart to fix this.

Thanks! I am sure my trolls will be upset.

If you have it properly tightened it will not do this again.
