Has anyone 'stumbled' across either of these for the Outlook ?
At least a couple yrs back when i chkd the 'round, the local publiclib' had just a generic gm (lambda sp?) engine one, not the more usual comprehensive all-things outlook ! If not done probably 'cause not sufficient yrs of manaufacture and unit numbers ?! thanks for any info, doug c

You would be better off using Chilton and Haynes manuals as a general reference. Your best option is going to be finding a complete set of FSM (Factory Service Manuals) for your model year vehicle. You can sometimes find these on Craigslist or Ebay from time to time.
There may even be online resources as well, but the Chilton/Haynes manuals are way too generalized for using for repairs if you are a DIY mechanic. Good for general reference only or a coffee coaster on your living room table. ... They maybe "generalized reference", but the Chilton and Haynes that i acquired (in their early yrs), to utilize as reference ---- '82 FordF100 and a now-retired '86HondaAccord, were quite useful over the years .
Quite often gave a good idea of what was involved in repairs best left to be done at a garage by a 'prof.' , or for the less technical, messy (or no specialized tool req'd) done by self . That said I just replaced the upper rad' hose on the '82ford this a.m. . . . . But considering the time, mess, disposal of haz mat, etc. I always have the oil changed done at a garage for less than $50 when either vehicle requires it . doug c
