They are VXR intake snorkels to replace the small ones that come in ours.

I highly doubt anyone will drop out since we all have money actually tied up into these already.

This order has been recent.

Due to Royal Mail increasing their prices we had to go through our account manager to get this recent at the original price as they were re-quoting at £74.15.

This was delivered by one of our vans to our closest Royal Mail sorting office on Friday last week.

ETA on delivery is between Thursday 17/05/2012 and Wednesday 23/05/2012

"recent"? does she mean re-sent or re sent or resent? i think they should "cend" you a refund, and a sincere apology.

Well, I kept bugging and digging deeper. I found out the courier they are using and called them. Our stuff is in NY; so at least it's in the states.

The issue: The docks at New York kept receiving our box, but kept sending it back because no one would respond with the fee that it has acquired. VauxhallWorldParts apparently couldn't afford the "duty" and just didn't tell anyone about it or something. Well, I paid the fee. Our package is now out of lock down. Let's see how long it takes now; they wouldn't give me an ETA just because they didn't know how long it would take to catch up from the holiday.

Well, I contacted the company holding our package and they said that Vauxhallworldparts have yet to give them a release. So I proceeded with:

"Hey,



Do we have any updates on anything. We need to figure something out before I contact legal help...

I already paid the duty that kept this held. I figured being you guys took over 5 months to get it to this point that you could make it better by just paying the $20 needed to get it to me; but then again, that would be good business.

Just let me know what's going on at this point.

I received this:

"Hi Dustin,

I am unsure as to what you would like us to do as we again have sent this order out. Before attempting to send this order the 2nd time we offered to fully refund your order less shipping but you requested it be sent again.

I have a note regarding a payment for customs charges on my system which is obviously down to you to pay as explained prior to checkout, in our Terms & Conditions as well as being seen in our Help pages under VAT. Any charges not included in our invoice is your responsibility.

If this order comes back to us a 2nd time we shall refund your order less your delivery charges as before.

So, I responded nicely with:

"Ashley,

I just figured that being you guys ruined this whole situation for us that you would at least try lessening the pain buy paying the fee. It only took you guys 6 months to almost get it here. Again, my fault for thinking you guys knew how to run a business. Anyway, I will try contacting the company again. If it has already been returned to you, we all expect a refund with shipping. We paid it; not our fault you can't get it here. Others in our organization have already received their stuff from your competitors; and they didn't wait 6 months and have extra fees. My fault for giving your company a chance. As I said, I will try contacting the company again. I somehow have to contact them during my working hours, which isn't going to be easy.

And I got this:

"Hi again Mr Johnson,

Unfortunately import duties, customs tax’s and any other fee’s with regards to your countries Importation Rules and Regulations are out of our control. We also have no control over courier operations as once the order is collected we fully rely on the couriers service to be as what we expect but unfortunately on this occasion has failed. As with any problems with couriers we do pass this on to our courier account manager.

We monitor all courier service reports and change couriers when a courier service falls below a score grading of 4.5 out of 5.

I can understand your frustration but it has been frustrating our side as, like I said above, deliveries are out of our control. I have contacted Interlink Express and they have said they are waiting to here from you. If you feel completely let down please reject this order or let me know you want it to be returned to us and I shall make the arrangements.

Once it is back with us we shall refund your order in full, with courier charges as a gesture of goodwill.

Anyway, I got ahold of the company and got UPS to pick them up and get them to me. So, now I'm out even more money. This whole thing was just nonesense. Either way, I was guaranteed they would be here tomorrow.
