Default sc fuel pump

can a 95 sc fuel pump be used in a 93-94? i got on rock auto and if you look up a fuel pump for a 93 sc1 you get e3909m part number, which in the notes says only 93-94. but you look up a 95 sc1 you get a e3905m. what is the difference and if you were to run a 95-96 pump what would the car do?

Hi Help-
not sure what would happen . There are differences in the specified output pressures of various year pumps. Most are close enough that the FuelPresureRegulator would probably handle it. Mebbe look at Haynes manual to check pressure specs.

Default Re: sc fuel pump

Buy the correct year. If I understand correctly this is for an SC1 SOHC which pre 95 is throttle body injection. Using a MPI versus a TBI pump may not work properly.
