New member looking for Help- 98 sl

Hi,
I just picked up a 98 sl with 106k on it, I need to do some exhaust work, it looks like the flex pipe is disconected right in front of the cat. can anyone steer me to a thread that goes over methods of repairing this. from the cat and back appear to be in decent shape and i will try to use as is., i havnet got under there yet to fully see whats up.

A better assessment can be made after you see what the damage is.

I'd also try reposting your question in the S series tech section. Lots of S guys hang out there and you'll get better answers.

Thanks for input, actually i fixed the exahaust system this past weekend, less than 50$, a flex pipe welded to cat and a coupling welded on back of cat and im in business, now just need to figure out why temp isnt rising all the way

Temp problems are frequently related to ECTS/connector issues.
