I had my key get stuck in the ignition a few months back and after researching a permament fix for it, I realized this will eventually happen again.
![]() ![]() I am guessing the best way to avoid this from happening again is to install either a remote car starter or a push button starter. With the remote car starter I would not have to start the car with the keys and "wear down" the ignition/tumblers. With the push button starter, I would only have to turn the iginition to ACC, and then push start. This would decrease "wear and tear". Any thoughts as to which is better? Thanks!

You still have to turn the key with a remote starter. And push button would be difficult to do right, and not secure unless you had to insert and turn the key
