Default Front Driver side tire rubs against back wheel well

Hey whats up guys. I'm having an issue with my front driver side tire rubbing against the wheel well in the back while turning ect..I just got two new front tires and even though the tires seem a bit more "meaty" (still factory recommended tires though) than my last ones the right passenger clears the wheel well by a good inch as opposed to the drivers side..

Any ideas on what might be the problem?

I took it down to a local mechanic and we had it on the lift and took a close look at it. Everything seemed in order as far as control arm ect.. nothing seemed bent or dislodged..his only suggestion was to take it to a frame shop in case something internal is bent and we cant see it.

It's probably notable that i've hit some pretty bad potholes on that side because pennsylvania roads are easily top 5 most horrible roads in the u.s. and the reason for getting the two new front tires was because my last one blew out because of the rubbing i assume, as the inner part of the tire looked chewed up..

one temporary solution to this problem would be to grind down the small metal strip that the tires "brushing" in my wheel well i'd imagine that could fix that aspect of it..It wouldn't however change the fact that my drivers side front tire is about an inch farther back than my passenger side front.

Hopefully the frame shop has some insight and doesn't try to feed me some b.s for a whole bunch of money hah..thanks ahead of time.

i'll try and get some pics up

sounds like you bent your subframe or control arm, or both, or some other combination of suspension and frame. don't grind down the metal strip, it's there for a reason.
