Does anyone here have experience with wiring a late model Vue. I'm getting ready to tow it behind a motorhome. I have the towing base-plate installed on the front. I just received a diode/ wiring kit for the lights and I was wondering if there is a preferred way to tap into the rear electric. Can it be done at the front of the car somewhere, or is doing it at the back the only way? I just looked at the rear electric and it looks like you could open up the harness underneath the car at the right rear. The model I have is a 2010 XR.

I tow my '06 behind my motorhome and I have the diode wiring setup on mine. I would think wherever you have the room to locate the diodes would be the way to go. In my case the wiring passes through the jack storage compartment and there is plenty of room there.
