Dazed saturn on fire

not that it should ever happen being these cars are made with lots of plastic i am just wondering if a saturn started on fire would it burn at a faster rate than normal cars?

You do not want to set fire to any car. There is less to drag off to the junk yard after a plastic car fire though. Ever seen what is left after a Corvette goes up?

I've seen what is left of a Corvette in good condition after it WAS taken to the Junk yard..

About a year ago there was a 2001 Corvette that was Candy Apple Red that was in one of the yards that I frequent...over a 3 week time frame the car went from have a few decent body panels and the car in-tact minus the engine, to basically a steel hulk with NO body panels on it left at all. The only thing that was on the hulk to tell you it was a Corvette was a 8 X 11 piece of paper printed on it "2001 Chevy Corvette".... Parts on that wrecked car went fast...

My 1991 SL2 back in 1995 after I was shot/car jacked, they stole what they wanted out of the car and left it in an empty lot on fire.

You got shot??? Damn.

Well plastic can burn and steel melts at much higher temps so yeah a saturns burns a little more but the pictures show substantial reinforcement steel frame so...I don't think the car is any more dangerous in a potential fire than a regular car. They all have interiors that catch on fire, plastic cloth leather, and gasoline.

I'm curious how the plastic panels burn or do they just kinda melt??? Anyone?
