Am I correct that any Racaro Seats will work in the Ion with modification (if it's out of a non-RL or Cobalt)?
My understanding is that Racaros the only thing that is different is the way that mounting brackets (can be changed correct? even if stock seats out of another car, EX like a audi?) According to Wiki all of these cars have Racaro's in them: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recaro They are available in black cloth correct? But they have problems with staining, true? The recaros came in red or blue cloth inserts and black leather bolsters. Later ions cannot use the recaros without modifying the airbag sensor system for the passenger seat. I don't think earlier ions have this sensor, though. As far as which recaros work, I'm not sure, besides the two variants I've already mentioned. I don't believe they stain as easily as the cheap cloth seats. I like the passenger airbag working right, so I just re wrapped my existing seats.
