![]() Changed my anti-freeze today because I also changed the thermostat and when I refilled the reservoir tank, my dash board warning light came on and continues to blink. This tank is a junk yard replacement I got years ago, the last time I changed the thermostat so I will probably just go back to the "Pick n Pull" and get one that has a float that rattles when I shake it a little.
I think I already know the answer to this but is there any way to free the float that is stuck in my current reservoir or am I just destined for a trip to the junk yard?? Thanks.

![]() Remove from car and fill with hot water and dish soap. Shake briskly until the float rattles, rinse and replace.

![]() Full tank with the car off doesn't stay full tank for long. I end up having to top it off with an extra 2-3 quarts when I've drained everything.
... The proper way to fix a S-Series automatic is to replace it with a 5spd O:)
