Default Ground location for SL2 cooling fan?

I have a 1996 Saturn SL2 and the cooling fan has stopped working. I noticed it while driving in town the other day because the temp gauge went above 1/2 which is very unusual for my SL2.

What I've Tried:
I pulled the cooling fan from the car this past weekend and bench-tested it and the fan works fine (thanks RichPin for the YouTube videos on removing the fan and testing it). With everything back in the car, I tried jumpering the cooling fan relay port (pins #30 to #87, if I remember right), but the fan did not start. I made sure the A/C was turned on. I Ohmed out the ground at the fan connector to the battery ground and there is no continuity. Looks like I have a ground missing.

What I Think:
I just had the clutch replaced in the car about three weeks ago. My suspicion is that the service folks didn't re-attach the ground for the cooling fan, where ever it exits the wiring loom. Unfortunately, I can't seem to figure out where it exits the wiring loom either. According to the wiring diagram, it should be a black wire roughly 12 gauge in size, and attaching to the engine block somewhere.

My Question:
Does anyone have a picture of where this specific ground exits the wiring loom and attaches to the engine block?

There are several grounded wires attaching to the block that I could see from the top of the engine, but none appeared to be the same gauge as the black wire that plugs into the cooling fan. I figure I am looking for a wire that is not attached (otherwise I have a wire break inside the loom).

Thanks so much.

2 grounds on the top transmission mounting bolts (1's straight from battery & fender). Then a 3rd under the air filter box.

Thanks guys.

I found the missing ground to the cooling fan. It connects to the upper rear-most ground lug on the back of the engine block (same attachment point as battery ground to the block).

In Low Saturn's attached images, it is the 4th image (motor and transmission image), connection point #3.

On my car, the ring terminal broke at the 90-degree bend, so the wire was there but not connected. I picked up a new 3/8" stud ring terminal this morning. I'll need to remove the old crimp from the ground wire and crimp the new one on (not enough wire to cut the old crimp off and re-strip the wire).

Thanks again for the help!
