Default 2002 saturn sl1 misfiring

Now and again my car starts misfiring at different speed ranges. So far I changed spark plugs and gapped them and changed air filter. I think it might be one of the emission components but I'm not sure. If someone had a similar problem can you help me.

Also sometimes when I disconnect and reconnect the battery the misfire goes away for awhile

Got codes?

Ever replaced the intake manifold gasket that is wrinkled up and leaky on 100% of the SOHC engines of this model year?

Could be lots of things so the best resource for you would be to step though the relevant "tune up" items found in the S-Series checklist in the General topic threads: http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=163654
