2008 Astra XR
I recently changed my stereo to a Kenwood. I was wondering if anyone knew what harnesses/adapters I needed for the steering wheel controls to work and the OnStar to work.
I have been searching here and there to find what I need, but I just need to be sure. The Crutchfield website wasn't much of a help since it was telling me that my Astra and the Kenwood wasn't compatible and obviously they are.

Re: Aftermarket Radio
There are a couple people here who have done changed their radios for aftermarket non astra-specific units who could probably explain in great detail, but what you are looking for to the steering controls is the Connects2 canbus adaptor. You can search the forum for that and you should come up with several posts describing what you need to get/do.
Not sure about onstar though.
