Default Need to replaces turn signal arm

I have a Vue 2002, anyone ever replaced the turn signal arm on the steering column? Mine is very loose and worn out and when I raise or lower it, it causes the high beams to turn on. It's really making other drivers on the road angry at me. I also think it's causing my lights to come on and drain the battery when it is really cold.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

There's a rash of these things failing recently. I've not done but others claim its very simple. BTW ... you can find replacement "stalks" at many on-line parts houses - including RockAuto.

You can find replacement instructions in post # 2 of following thread:

Default Re: Need to replaces turn signal arm

i have replaced the turn signal arm on my 2004 saturn vue.
very easy to do...pop off cover on steering column, there u will find the turn signal arm. it just pops in, kinda hard to explain. it snaps into the housing..i think u will get it. i know it was a crappy how to do it..hope it helps!

i got my replacement form the junkyard...still cost over $30. but way better than what the dealership would charge!

REWARD EXCELLENCE!
