codes P0137 and P0138

2006 Saturn Vue AWD V6

i am getting these codes indicating high and low voltage in the o2 sensor, (bank 1, sensor 2)

is this the front or rear o2 sensor? also, does this indicate a faulty o2 sensor or something else?

I've attached descriptions for both PO137 and PO138. Could be faulty sensor, but one description reminds to make sure the sensor is tight in socket.

Bank 1 is nearest firewall and sensor 2 is lower sensor - after the cat.

I tried to attach replacement instructions but file is slightly too large. I'll email if you provide address via private message.

Please note extracts are from 05 Vue manual but should apply to 06.
