Dizzy Camshaft sensor - 1999 SL2 - location & how to replace

Can someone let me know where the camshaft sensor is located and how to go about replacing it? Also, is it possible the Check Engine code for Camshaft Sensor could appear due to heavy rain? Thanks!

There is NO physical CAMSHAFT sensor. The signal is generated in the coil pack though. If the code occurred in a heavy rain event then it is highly likely that a set of new plug wires and sparkplugs will fix it just fine. Any brand of mid priced direct fit wires will work and use only NGK plugs. NGK BKR5ESA-11 for DOHC, don't let some counter person sell you any platinum plugs. Advance stocks NGK plugs and most NAPA stores also have them.

Once the plugs and wires are replaced you can clear the code by removing the PCM B fuse from the engine compartment fuse box or just drive the car as if its gone the SES will turn of after a couple of trips.
