Default Anyone for a wrecked Saturn?

I really need to work on buying that farm! A Saturn farm.

If only i had a garage or drive way.

http://lancaster.craigslist.org/cto/1618703922.html

Thought i'd post for anyone who might like to look into it.

Am i the only one who would love to have a farm with a bunch of Saturns to fix up?

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

You're breaking my heart. Nice car, I don't have the acreage to store all of the good Saturns I'd like to buy.

You really want a polebarn or garage to store the cars in... otherwise, mice will find a way in.

My Honda CRX apparently sat still too long... and they got in.

And acreage alone won't do it... my wife gets on my case (in a nice way, of course) when our car count goes over 4, she says it makes the yard look "junky"

It does, if they're all old POS's
But yeah, need to be stored indoors ideally, unless just a cheap parts car.

This is kinda what I've been doing...

I bought a 1998 SC2 for $400 and fixed it all up, including new struts for $200
and a
1997 SW2 for $400 and fixed it all up (new fuel line $1 and new heater core$50). It needed new tires, so I got new tires for my personal SW2 and put my old ones on this 1997.

NC mails titles to people instead of printing them off at the DMV so I'm waiting to sell these two before I buy some more saturns. I don't have much for facilities, but I do have a shed, carport and driveway. I also have a truck and 18' car hauler. Both of these cars were sold as tow-away, but both were able to drive up on the trailer.

Shame your so far away ShawnV, I would totally be interested in buying that SW2 from you. I like my low mile 1998, but I would kill to have a manual station wagon!

I spent the better part of the day steam cleaning the interiors and washing both cars. I also cleaned both engine compartments. I'm starting to grow attached........... However, I was once a non-saturn fan so maybe by selling these someone else will understand saturn.

Oh, my SC2 was running really cool and the gauge was acting weird. I replaced the ECTS when I first got the car, but I started suspecting the thermostat. The guy I bought it from said he replaced it recently though. So, today I went in there after I got it cleaned up only to find NO thermostat! I installed one and the damn car runs beautiful. It idles at 750 and I'm growing even more attached! So much that I'm actually considering buying a SC2 as my permanent second saturn - they are just seem sportier than the SW.

I still haven't titled the SW2 so I haven't had it on the road much. I plan to title it tomorrow.

Nah, she just doesn't like cars in the driveway at all. In her opinion, all cars should be in garage, or it "looks junky'

even parts cars, unless you have a fast cat that sleeps nearby or you won't need any interior parts (or don't mind steam-cleaning the mouse piss/pellet smell out )

I have 10 cats. Shhh. NONE of them will catch a mouse. NONE. They look at it, but won't do anything.

Make sure to get a cat that will catch mice. lol

And cars sitting in a drive way don't look junky, unless the cars are all beat up and have parts missing. The house just looks "busy" with more then 3 cars.
