![]() The FCC ID is AB01502T, not ABO1502T. But ABO1502T is an extremely common typo in eBay listings for these remotes, so it's good to search on both.
The two-button truck remotes should work, but of course, there's no way to open the tailgate/trunk. And the Saturn section of the list should go like this: 1996 Saturn SL (3) 1996 Saturn SW (3) 1996 Saturn SC (3) 1997-1999 Saturn SL (4) 1997-1999 Saturn SW (4) 1997-1999 Saturn SC (4)

![]() Plus those are a lot harder to find than the 3 and 4 buttons, I've discovered.
... 2002 Saturn SC2 DOB: 9/11/2001 Date Obtained: 10/28/2009

![]() If I could ask a obvious and stupid question that I can't find the answer to: Is the model/FCC ID how you determine what remote works with what car? I have bought a remote on eBay that is advertised to work with 1997 SC2 Saturn but the model/FCC ID is L2C0005T. My original failing remote that I'm trying to replace is AB01502T. The new one doesn't do anything when I put the car in learning mode.

![]() It's very easy to pry open your old remote, replace the battery (CR2032) and clean the contacts

![]() But if it's an original '97 remote, it's probably beyond help by cleaning. The first couple years, seems they were poor quality; mine wore out years ago, and the replacements (eBay used, but later year) are still going strong.
