No the server is down. There was some Dos attacks on it the other day and the host pulled it down. It'll be back soon enough. I'm enjoying the time away from it.

(Distance from you 2,617 miles)

Looking a gift horse in the mouth:
"Material is unpainted Hot Rolled Steel" (A36 steel? 36,000 psi, as in building column base plate? tough stuf) Fine by me, as I will keep it painted. Have you considered some type of brass alloy? - Or would it be too weak/brittle for the brake caliper? I only ask because my dad (mechanical/production engineer) suggested it. I have no idea of material cost or availability. machines nice though.

Thanks for your order. The laser cutter had the A36 on hand & the cost was low. Tell your dad thanks for the suggestion. What type of engineering work does he do? I hope you follow in his footsteps. Engineering is fun

He's retired from GM. Now, he does as much engineering as I can nag him to do.
I'm an engineer too. Not mechanical though.

:O

now that is ****ing awesome. would you be able to fit 2 1/16" gauges in there? it doesn't look like there are many options for 2" gauges..

would definitely buy one of these. btw, got my spacers saturday, and they look great! I'm waiting till I get my calipers and new hubs/bearings before I put these on. I don't really need them yet, but I figure why not.

The $35 fix:

Finally installed the hub spacers Very easy install.

Cleaned surfaces with a scraper; checked flatness with a flat file; Sprayed brake clean on everything; slathered mating surfaces with plenty of red LokTite; Blue LocTite on bolts. Since I have drums on back I tightly thru-bolted the tangs intended for brake calipers (will help with shear transfer).

Instant improvement while driving in the truck ruts in asphalt pavement The front and rear wheels now track!
