clicking sound on a Vue v6

Hi everyone,

I've got a '03 Vue V6 with about 2500 miles on it. I have noticed that while I am stopped at a light I hear a metallic clicking or popping sound. It kinda sounds like the noise the car makes when u turn off the engine and the metal is expanding/contracting only it is louder. It is not a sound that is consistent or reproducible at all times but it does happen quite often when I come to a stop at a light.

Another weird sensation I sometimes get is while I am coasting at low speeds the engine will feel like the a/c is engaging (even though the a/c is off).

Is this all normal?? Thanks in advance for ur advice!
