Wrench Please help. how to replace water pump 02 saturn sc

hi everyone.
i did a search but cant seem to find a DIY on how to replace the water pump on a 2002 Saturn SC.
has anyone done this that can do a write up? or provide a write up or link?
i'd greatly appreciate it as the waterpump on my gf's saturn is leaking causing the coolant light to go off.
any help, suggestions are greatly appreciated.

From experience, make sure you put the water pump pulley bolts at the 6 o'clock position and use a breaker bar with a 10MM socket and pull TOWARDS YOU to get the bolts loose. Make sure to put a wedge between the pulley and the block, so that the pulley itself stays in place. There are 3 pulley bolts, then once you get the pulley off, there are 6 10MM bolts that hold the pump in place.

Drain coolant first and remove the lower splash guard only.

Make sure the water pump mating surface is cleaned, dried and clear of the old gasket before applying new gasket (I used Gray RTV), along with a Fel-Pro Water pump Gasket.

Use PB Blaster for Best results to get the bolts loose.

Default +1 on PB Blaster, great stuff (and 6 point sockets too)

When I did my water pump I shot PB Blaster on the bolts the night before, then next day went in with a 6 point socket. It was no problemo, the bolts came right out like it was some kind of training video.

PB Blaster + overnight soak + cup of coffee = a good day

It always looks easy when richpin does it and 99% of the time it is, but I seem to run into that one stuck bolt...

+1, between PB Blaster and coffee, all is good
