Default Oil change coupons for Saturn owners

I was getting the oil changed in the Vue today, and while I was waiting, the person at the business desk told me that she heard that GM would be sending free oil change coupons to current Saturn owners. She said that a GM representative that is in charge of Saturn dealer changeovers to whatever was in and this was mentioned. They are supposed to be mailed to us. I hope that she heard this correctly, since we've taken a big hit in depreciation, I'll take a freeby or 2 any day!

My wife & I received our's last month. I'm not positive, but I beleive it was the dealership (Marhofer) who sponsored ours, not GM.

I received 3 free oil change coupons from the Pontiac dealer. But no coupons from Saturn...since my Saturn dealer closed, I guess its dealer sponsored and probably reimbursed by GM?

Got my coupons yesterday. They were from the "authorized service provider" for my 2008 Vue, which just happens to be the same dealer group that ran my old Saturn dealership. It appears to be a voucher for 4 free regular services (or a year) whichever comes first. I guess that includes oil changes inspections and tire rotations.

I got a "coupon" from the dealer ... I think it was to get a 5-quart oil change for the "reduced" price of $30 or $40 PLUS a free "10-point" or however many "point" courtesy check or some such nonsense ... what a complete waste of postage!

We received 4 oil change coupons for our Vue a couple of weeks ago in the mail along with a letter that basically said Saturn is still looking out for us. I thought Saturn was long gone but read on this site that the company is still solvent until October, 10. Hmmmm

I received a coupon from a local Chevy dealer offering a reduced price oil and filter change with a 19 point inspection. When I used it the dealer gave me a credit towards the price of a synthetic oil change. Nice way to be introduced to a new dealership. To expand just a bit, I mentioned two TSBs to the dealer and they took care of both items (replacement of part of the steering mechanism and tweaking the computer to correct a fault in the heating/cooling system) without any problem. Have had the Vue (08 XR AWD) back for 3 weeks now and the "repairs" appear to have solved both problems.
From my experience then, at least one Chevy dealer seems to be going out of his way to welcome Saturn orphans into his fold.
