Default "....Warranty is almost up on the vehicle."

" . . . The dealer is giving the car back to us, unable to fix the problem . . . . . . The warranty is almost up on the vehicle. "

This is a scenario where I personally think when ya have documented (your own and within the product sellers' files) of a ongoing/unsolved problem that, until they DO fix the problem warranty coverage still (should) go beyond the warranty expiry date !

But alas that may just be in a 'perfect world'

This is not a real world situation where some person has done something stupid (drank too much, killed . . . . signed up on a too good to be true deal ....) and some people (more so these days) think they can just hit reset or change a channel/edit out . . . . the bad scenario will disappear.

But is a (real world) problem with a product that the manufacturer presently acknowledges responsibility, and should be responsible (ya would think) for till either they fix it or . . . . **** actually freezes over !

IS THERE any legal precedent out there ?

IMHO,
