Default New guy with turbo White Hot

Well not really new to the scene, been around for 6 or so years, just never wandered over this way. This has been my pride and joy for many years, but is in the process of being parted out. It's a 1998 SC2 White Hot, too much crap on it to even list.

Awwww why are you parting it out?
I like the remote location for the coil pack. How did you get the harness over that far?

Ha, I like with all the work done to the car, the only comment I get is about the coils. I extended the wires and ran them in the radiator support over the radiator. Used speaker wire to ground them to one of the bolts where the a/c previously was.

Great Saturns, I used to have a 1994 SL2 4 door white, similar to yours. and I have a 1997 SC2 (not white). Nonetheless Great cars, I have never seen a carbon hood for a saturn, let alone for SC and SL, are they avalible?

It's an excellent car but I've had it for over 5 years and I'm in the mood for something else, plus I wanna buy a house before the end of the year. I blew up my forged engine build, and just don't wanna spend the cash to build another engine for it. Luckily I did find a great buyer for the whole car, so it will have a second chance at life, and will probably turn into more of a beast than I had it(as hard as that is to believe). As far as I know there are certainly more than a few hundred made.

Are those projector beam headlights? They look sweet. I've always wanted to put the Pro-Beam carbon fiber covers on mine to get that "it's got eyes" look, but never did.

Actually...the 98 White Hot and 98 Red Hot Coupes are one of the more rare Saturn S-Series cars. Along with the 2001 BumbleBee Yellow SC2 (of which 99 were made)...the White Hot/Red Hot Coupes had a limited production run.

The package option was called the "Black Top Coupe Package". For $225 extra, the cars were made with black roof panels, black outside rear view mirrors, black emblems, white face gauges and black accented teardrop wheels.

Yeah my SC2 was in a accident and I too am not going to rebuild it. Cash, home and business investing, I hear ya man. I hope someone will buy my crashed car and rebuild it into more of a beast as it was aswell.

I have seen the White coupe with black top color scheme a couple times down here in Florida, I just thought it was a "self-done" thing not a choice from factory.

Well for now all my saturn dedication will be to the Outlook XR my wife and I just bought, mabey I get another coupe someday.

I know the history of these cars, mine had full service records when I bought it too, owned by some old lady. By beast I mean more than 18psi and 350whp. I'm not sure how much mine actually made, but I broke it pulling on a z06 corvette, after I grabbed traction in 3rd gear. Yes those are Acura TSX projectors as well. It's too far gone to make back into stock, otherwise I would keep it. I just don't want this highly of modified one anymore, too much stuff to break and go wrong, too much of a money pit.
