Dizzy EFI Live v4 and 95 SC2

Does anyone have success with this? I made the aldl cable and communication flows.. Its not the Max cable, the 2 transistor version, powered version.

I'm able to turn on/off the SES and dis/engage A/C etc.. but when I chose the Macro for reporting to the logs, the dashboard etc. still doesnt work?? I've tried the 93 SL2 vehicle definition and also tried the 95 SC2 3rd party Definition and neither of them show live data.

Also, when you watch the flow of comm randomly I'm getting checksum failure I'm beginning to think the failures have to do with my solderwork?? not sure yet..

Anyone ?

Thanks

Have you gone to their website for tech support? It seems to me that checksum errors suggests comm baud rate mismatch or something more technical about bit errors. Protocol matching.................

No I haven't because I'm using the Evaluation at the moment. I do know that it's not because it's the evaluation because the eval is fully operational except that it only lasts for 30+ days.

Contrary to the propaganda from the vendor most of the possible Saturn functions are not supported. Sometimes because Saturn did not implement them or the software developer did not query the right address. Those functions are usually available on a CAN bus system which is after the S-Series. You will get more from an OBD-2 than an OBD-1 PCM also. The GUI is probably totally generic and many features will just not work because they are not in the PCM to work.

What vehicle definition file are you using? There is one at http://www.saturnwiki.net/random_junk/ll0def.zip which you could try. This was sent to me by the person who posted the YouTube video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tWLtdT8GXGc.
