638 Cubic inches is almost 6 of our 1.9s... we only have 116 cubic inches. 638 is actually 5 and a half LLo engines.

That is running a punched big block. Rofl. Also a 9in Ford rear end

Not only having a punched big block, but the 9in rear end means its a rear wheel drive car.

If I'm not mistaken the 1.9LLO is already a stroker.

Not to mention the tire sizes, the burnout smoke, the orientation of the scoop...

At least he doesn't have to worry about shooting his diff pin.

Wow, those panel gaps!

The "whiskey tango foxtrot" factor of those wheels, the casters, the chutes, the massive rear foil, the shop-vac-on-steroids scoop, juxtaposed with the stock taillights and headlights, etc.... You almost expect to see the brake lights go on when the chutes deploy.

Good call! Yeah, if you look real close, you'll see the SES light on, reflected in the driver's face shield.

(I'm wondering why they decommissioned that semi-tasteful scoop in favor of that thing that looks like an HVAC vent on the roof of a gov't office building....)

We have a light bulb that turns on to illuminate the SES indicator on the dragster whenever we turn the main power on.

Wouldnt be a Saturn if that light wasn't on.

Those "panels" don't float in mid-air, or just bolt to each other. There has to be a structure they attach to. Seeing that it's the roof, bumpers, decklid, right down to the lights and the license plate, I'd bet a nickel there's a Saturn spaceframe under there.

Hey! That dragway looks like it's in Rockfish. Hmmm......

Freakin insane..... now i can't wait for the electric cars to hit the junk yards then i can finally have my Saturn EV 1st gen i have been dreaming about since 2000.....if i had known what GM was going to do to those EV1's in stashed in Burbank I probably would of boosted a couple for my project car.

...
1995 SL1 oil burner school commuter looks nice...1997 SL1 Gold 5-speed with new junk yard wheels and tires just got 40.4 MPG....2002 SL1 sometimes 45 MPG on a spring highway drive

Obviously there's not a lot of "Saturn" inner structure left; especially from the beltline down. In fact, I'm in the process of building a Chevrolet Vega drag car; instead of spending big $$$ on aftermarket fiberglass front clip, doors, bumpers, hatch, etc., after some rough measurements it looks as if I could use a 1st gen SC body! The overall dimensions are quite close; maybe I should try to build the "World's 2nd fastest Saturn"......
