Not bad, but I like mine better. The removal of the plastichrome strip from the rear hatch is a huge improvement though.

i do not like the hatch design nor do i like the tailight protruding into the hatch. i will keep my '08.

Im with you guys, I like the current styling a little more. But I think the new one will be the better car, just with an uglier skin

Ill be honest if I sold my Astra today and they gave me the choice to get it back or take this 2010 one, looks wise, I would take my 2008 Astra, now the interior looks a bit nicer on that one but who knows its too blurry to tell.

Does the back lights make it look like, I think it was, a Lexus SUV?

I also am not a fan of the 2010 design and probably wouldnt buy one even if I had an easy chance to. Looks wise, I'll keep my 2008, thanks. Im not liking its similarity to alot of other manufacturers newer designs being put out. They are all starting to look too similar to me and remind me of each other.

BUT - the radio WILL have an AUX port!!! According to a lot of people here, it appears they would single handily buy a car based off having an aux port!

GM Sky Man, you know, you were the one that made me make my choice back in September to buy this model of Astra and not wait for the 2010, im glad you told me to.

It'll come with ~13 different engines as usual. Don't think it'll come to the US at all though.

Brad - Glad to hear my cyrstal ball worked for once! Now if I could just get it working right and help me predict which stocks would be the best chance for INCREASING my portfolio or better yet, the winning power ball numbers would be great too!

Also to note, that even tho the interior is updated, check out the center stack and how it slants back. When I sat in these cars, that was the perfect spot for my right knee to crash into the side of the console. Our 'H's don't have that problem because the console slightly receeds in a downward angle.

Well maybe I'll be the only one to disagree with you guys, but I think the new model looks better. If they were to give me the option to wait for the new model or buy this one, I would have waited.

From what I can see I like it better too. Which is not to say I don't like my 2008 a lot, just that there are some nice visible updates from a 2004 (actually probably pretty well hatched by 2002?) design.

Does the aux jack nestle between two, count them two, front passenger cup holders? ;>)

I'll reserve opinion on the interior until I see it without a hideous two-tone brown/black combo.

Hehe... Yeah, that and more cup holders! Seriously though, the situation with the factory radio is easily fixed by replacing it. I'll be doing that in the very near future.
