Default Wilmington, Delaware Plant visit?

I was wondering if some one out there in Saturn Land Knows if the assembly plant in Wilmington allows plant tours like Springhill, I ask this because my wife and I are planning a trip to this area(Washington, D.C., Virginia, Maryland )next May and I would like to take a tour of it while I'm in that area if it was possible.

Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

THX.

Yogi,
I don't know the answer to that question, but I will try to find out for you. It seems as though someone on this message board works at the plant in Wilmington. Check out the "L200 Special Edition" post. I think the originator was from the plant. Maybe you could email him and find out quicker.

I live about 90 miles away from Wilmington and the last time I checked, the plant was not open for tours. If you want to be sure however call or e-mail the Saturn Customer Assistance Center. If it is open, please post it here. I have a couple of unscheduled vacation days I need to burn off before year end and could be down there on very short notice.

I am not aware of plant tours open to the public at this time.

Default Wilmington

I dont know if this will help but the # for the plant is 1-302-428-7000 or the union hall is 1-302-995-6001. Some one at these numbers should be able to tell you something.
