![]() The info on reducing packaging waste was pretty impressive. I was a little less taken with the bit about the oil cartridge (instead of spin on filter) for the 2.2 and 3.0 engines as in the L series. I'd rather have paid $20 extra as an "environment fee" to have spin on filters, myself!

![]() The 2.4L Ecotec also has the cartridge oil filter. It's so easy to get to, and so much easier, not to mention cleaner, to replace. Only have to crawl under the car for the drainplug is nice. I don't know why you'd rather have a spin-on filter.
