Where's the beef? They post every spec, but the one everyone wants to know... The gas mileage... I keep hearing it's supposed to be 40-50% better in the city...

I hope it's better that possibly 26/28 city/highway?

I think we'll see that soon. That and the pricing will be the last things to be released. BTW, some folks have had an opportunity to drive the 2-Mode Vue at a GM event last week, and they talked about expected fuel economy and estimated pricing. You can find links to them here:

I hope they keep the price reasonable, because the 2-mode Tahoes aren't flying off the dealers lots... They were about ~$6k more...

on Autobloggreen they came out with initial numbers of 28 city and 31 highway. I think those numbers are GMs internal numbers. If they are close, wow.

One tester averaged nearly 30 mpg in one days driving. Another got as high as 33.4 mpg on the highway.

I would love it if my 07 Aura XR got 33 on the highway.

I so want to see a two-mode Aura with the 3.6

Define "reasonable." These should come in around $32-33k, which beats the Highlander hybrid in power, efficiency, and price and is pretty close to the Escape Hybrid in efficiency, even with the V6.

$32-33k sounds reasonable for a 2 mode hybrid...
