This time, though, there's a catch. Customers will only be offered the discount who are in possession of a coupon authorization code provided by a GM employee.

My wife and i purchased an 08 saturn aura xe 3.5 ltr last march with a couple of options using her gm emp discount.
We are super satisified with the looks, fit, finish, and performance at a bargain price!
For not much more $$$ than a honda fit would cost.

The twist; They make you do hard time on an assembly line to "earn" the employee pricing. GM gets free labor, you get the car at a decent price....it's win-win.

meanwhile, the regular assembly line workers report to the Jobs Bank and collect 95% of their regular pay

it is supplier pricing not employee pricing. but in addition discounts plus on tuesday we are getting another 2000 off per aura, outlook and vue but i think it is only in minnesota. if coming out of a lease its another 2000 on most cars. really good deals and actually even better on the news cars than it is on the leftover 08s
