Saturn's new flagship store opened last month in Danbury, Connecticut. The retail facility features Saturn's next-generation retail design architecture and styling themes. The new look will eventually be adopted by all Saturn stores across the country.

Let's hope that Saturn Of Orchard Park catches on sometime soon!

They have looked the same since 1991, with an interior refresh somewhere along the way.

I've actually been there. It's on Federal Road near Home Depot. I went there yesterday to check out the Vue XR when another poster was saying how much more cool it is than a 4cyl RAV4.

But I lost focus and test drove a Sky redline instead.

I like the interior shot. Reminds me a bit of an Apple Store or IKEA showroom. The exterior would look better without the green lighting, makes it look too much like a 7-11.

I really like the interior, as well as the exterior of this new store design. I see Saturn is still using the contemporary theme as they did in their original store designs, as well as the Red II design. It is much brighter than Red II's dark motif.

I like the comment in this short article about all the Saturn retailers adopting this design. At least one of the 5 stores in the city in which I live never even went to the Red II design and the store has been around since the early 1990s. A friend who works for this particular store told me they are going to go to this new design very soon.

In summary, it looks great!

Very nice and quite impressive, but this new look won't do a damn bit of good unless GM opens more such Saturn retailers and stocks them with the kind of world-class vehicles people want to own and drive. GM still has some work to do in this area.

Actually that green light behind the Saturn logo fades from color to color. It's really cool looking at night time. My dealer (Saturn of York) is just finishing up the renovation, at least as far as I know. They might have more to do yet.

How far is Saturn of Danbury from the former fair grounds turned shopping mall?

I can only hope that my SL2 retailer undergoes something similar, especially being directly across the street from Volvo and Land Rover, yet looking much the same as when they opened in 1991.

You mean the Danbury Mall? Yeah, it's 10-15 minutes. Not far at all.

How long ago did the Saturn and Saab dealers separate? It looks like Saturn is in a different building now. There was a big line of dealers Honda, Saturn, Saab, Mercedes Benz and Isuzu. It looks like the Saturn was replaced by Chevrolet/Cadillac and the Saturn dealer was moved a bit down the street.
