Dizzy Setting the clock????

It's got the MP3 style radio, and I KNOW you're supposed to hold the RCL button down and set the clock, but it beeps and does nothing. Am I forgetting to do something?

I'll have to check for sure this evening when I get back to the car, but it's something to do with how the ignition key is positioned. I just can't remember off hand if it needs to be in Accessory mode, Off with the key in the ignition, On with the engine off, etc. I know the radio needs to be off to do it.

If its anything like mine, the radio has to be in the FM mode before it'll let you set the clock and even then it's touchy and it takes me a couple of tries.

OK, here we go. The secret is to push in the RCL button and hold it, but you have to hit the left (to increase the hour) or the right (to increase the minutes) arrow on the Auto EQ button BEFORE you hear the beep. (Drove me crazy before I accidentally got it right!)

P.S. If you use the "Custom" setting on the EQ, it resets to "Flat" any time the power is disconnected and you have to reset it.

Happy Re: Setting the clock????

FINALLY!!! Thanks DaveR!! Key in the ACC position, and like you said, hold the RCL button down and hit the AUTO EQ button BEFORE the beep. That did it. That's been driving my nuts for weeks! Now if I can only get my passenger door to unlock!
