Pictured is the back page of the Saturn brochure printed to tout the 1994 Saturn Homecoming Commemorative Sedan. Saturn built a limited number of these special pearl white SL2 sedans to commemorate the brand's first homecoming celebration held at the Saturn plant in Spring Hill, Tennessee. The MSRP for the Homecoming SL2 was $15,650.

I wish I could afford to buy one, haha...I would love to get my hands on one of them eventually, that and the 1999 HCE SL2, as well as the 2001 10th Anniversary Edition.

I saw a 99 HCE last week! I saw it in a parking lot as it first caught my eye because of the unique green pearl color. I drove over to where it was parked to show my son who was with me. It was confirmed when I saw the black emblems and chromed wheels. I then saw a 20 something girl walking toward it and I wish now that I stopped to talk to her about it. It looked to be in decent shape except that the hood had some dents. I think she might work in the area so I might go back to find it again and leave a note to see if she might be interested in selling or trading it for one of mine.

I'll keep an eye out for it; I should have one somewhere in my archives. I'm in the process of re-organizing and cataloging my Saturn stuff (its still in boxes from when we moved). I came up with "Flashback Friday" as a way for me to share a little bit of my collection with everyone who cherishes the history of Saturn as much as I do. I hope you guys enjoy the posts, I've got a lot more to get online!!
