Anyone notice the new OnStar E-Nav feature on Virtual Advisor?
Pretty cool. It integrates with MapQuest Directions.
You just set up your directions through MapQuest, click send to OnStar, enter your account number, and save it as one of your locations,
When virtual advisor starts, it is the first thing she says.. You can recall one of your saved routes and it sets up the route and gives you turn-by-turn directions.
I think it's pretty cool, I have already stored some locations, just for the heck of it. It's easier than pressing the blue button and waiting for a live advisor (even though that's pretty fast.)
I also think it will be helpful when OnStar advisors can't locate where you are trying to go, which has actually happened to me before.
I'm starting to think I might extend OnStar for another year.. The only problem is that Virtual Advisor uses your phone minutes which, to me, seem pretty expensive.
Just thought I'd let those of you know who haven't used OnStar at all this week.
Penny for your thoughts?
