From Charleston.net: Climbing into the Saturn Astra, which replaces the Ion sedan, I close the door. Thunk. It closes with a solidity I rarely have experienced in a General Motors product. And the seats!

All of the reviews of the Astra have pretty much said its a very solid-feeling car. Which, it is!

Default Re: New Hatchback Praised as GM's Star Small Car

couldn't agree more.. I have owned a number of GM cars and trucks and thought I was done with them... Between the cheap plastic interiors and the endless rattles... I had enough..

Till I seen the Astra, after getting in and hearing the thud sound the door made I knew it was different... This has to be one of the most solid and tight cars made.. I can't find anything in it that looks cheap, it really does have the feel and look of a car that cost much more... Its a great little car and deserves all the praise it's getting...

This is one of the smartest moves GM has made in a while and I'm glad I didn't have to go to Honda or Toyota..

REWARD EXCELLENCE!
