Default Thanks for your help, but went with a CRV

Thanks to all your posts, it came down to a Vue or a CRV, my wife and I decided to get the CRV for the following reasons, none of which were huge, but added up:

- Overall driver feel was a bit "tigher".
- Factory Sunroof.
- Telescoping and further down tilt on the wheel than the Vue.
- Gas milage difference (yes, with that comes less power).
- Better tire pressure monitoring system and better DIC info.
- Duel zone heating/cooling.
- Captains chairs for driver/passenger.
- Outside mirrors a bit smaller.
- Got at invoice, so no real difference there.

What we gave up:

- Onstar free for a year.
- More power (less mpg)
- Overall body styling an edge for the Vue (except the mirrors).
- Universal home remote.
- Paid a bit more, but mostly for the sunroof.

Now, I'm not a Vue "hater" so don't flame me...just wanted to add in why I made the choice...good luck to the board...thanks again.

...
Looked at a Vue, ended up with a CRV instead.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

Good choice, either way. Can't go wrong with the CRV. Take a look at it's statistics in Consumer Reports. They give it outstanding marks, with the only negative being some road noise. Enjoy your new vehicle.

Good choice, the '08 Vue is pretty much a CR-V wannabe anyway. The CR-V is not my first choice but you can't beat Honda reliabilty. The posts on this board about the '08 Vue don't exactly instill confidence for potential buyers. Hopefully the quality issues will start to diminish for the '09's.

Thumbs Up Re: Thanks for your help, but went with a CRV

Thanks for the support...resale value is something I left off also...I hope the 08's on both the Vue and CRV can work any kinks out. I think either way we would have been happy. Good luck to all of you, those who have already bought and those that are looking to.

Congratulations on your purchase. I've owned an Accord before and I loved it. If Honda could give the CRV one of its V6 engine choices from the Accord it would definitely be higher on my list of candidates. That's really my biggest fault with it which isn't much. The Pilot is nice but much too big for what I need.
